Its twin design and captivating reliefs offer unique insights into Egypt’s spiritual life.

After exploring the temple, return to the cruise for a delicious lunch as the vessel continues its voyage northward. The scenery of the Nile Valley unfolds around you—verdant fields, palm groves, and timeless river life. In the afternoon, the cruise will pass through the Esna Lock, a fascinating experience as the ship lowers to a new level of the Nile’s waters. Continue to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a masterpiece of ancient architecture, then admire the towering Colossi of Memnon, silent sentinels that have guarded the Theban necropolis for millennia.
